Despite the UK government recently classifying the risk of bitcoin use in terror financing is "low" (pdf) compared to legacy, a document acquired by Reuters is showing that important Brussels politicians are going to be planning to crack down on Bitcoin in the EU under the guise of fighting terror financing. From Reuters:
"They will urge the European Commission, the EU executive arm, to propose measures to "strengthen controls of non-banking payment methods such as electronic/anonymous payments and virtual currencies and transfers of gold, precious metals, by pre-paid cards," draft conclusions of the meeting said."

This plan is underway even though it is well known that Bitcoin is not anonymous, and instead provides a very useful record that law enforcement could use to aid investigations, if they would attempt to understand it.
Details are yet to come out, but the document does prove that a plan is in the works, and supports some of the recent G7 rumors that Der Spiegel reported.
The absurdity of the situation is of course that the West's "allies" in Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar are the primary financiers of terrorism. And the primary vehicle for the terror financing is the USD and the banking system, the very banks who finance the elites and keep the power cycle going. And they are using bitcoin and prepaid cards as a distraction so they can avoid accountability for their friends.
